Common questions

Is Google Sites really free?

Google does not sell a Sites plan, so building and publishing a site costs nothing. A custom domain costs whatever your registrar charges, and buying one through Google needs a paid Google Workspace plan.

Can Google Sites look professional enough for a business?

It can look neat, but the templates and layout options are limited, and there is no built-in contact form. For a simple information page that is often enough. If the site has to win customers, the copy and design matter more, and that is the work webbefy does for you.

Can I use my own .co.za domain?

On both. With Google Sites you connect it in the site settings and add the records Google gives you at your registrar. With webbefy you connect it at no extra cost, and webbefy shows you exactly which records to add.
